New software released by GL Communications (News - Alert) can transmit and receive over several T1 E1 timeslots or through two-wire FXO and FXS lines.
The company has released its latest Single & Bulk Fax Simulation Over T1 E1 FXO FXS Lines that can emulate many “virtual fax machines” and support all variations.
The popularity of fax has not waned despite the increased use of ordinary telephone lines for voice, data (modem), and for fax.
Businesses still require the traditional fax machines according to Jagdish Vadalia, senior manager for Product Development, GL Communications. Faxes are especially important for banks and businesses that depend on this technology for money transactions.
GL Communications’ Fax Simulator can be used with any GL Protocol Emulation tools to simulate complete real time fax calls. The new launch can be used with GL Protocol Emulation tools such as MAPS SS7 Simulator, MAPS ISDN Simulator and MAPS CAS Simulator.
This software boasts several features and applications such as enabling businesses to successfully send or receive up to hundreds of faxes simultaneously.
“Using GL's versatile hardware product line, various fax testing scenarios can be simulated: Bulk Fax testing over many T1 E1 lines (100's of timeslots) with our Octal T1 E1 Cards, or single FXO and FXS lines on our versatile tProbe platform, or hundreds of FXO FXS lines with our High Capacity Analog 2-Wire platform,” said Vadalia.
GL Communications supplies test, monitoring, and analysis equipment for TDM, Wireless, IP and VoIP networks. The company was in news last week for announcing the availability of its Acoustic Echo Compliance Test Software per G.167 and P.340 standards.
