Epygi Intros Salesforce.com Integration for Quadro IP PBXs with Camrivox Partnership

By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Senior Editor

Epygi (News - Alert), a company that makes IP PBXs, gateways and conference servers for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced Monday a partnership with UK-based IP phone solutions provider Camrivox (News - Alert) to expand the horizons of premise-based CRM telephony integration for clients of both companies.

Camrivox offers a software platform called BizVox that integrates its Flexor 500 desktop handset to the Salesforce.com (News - Alert) database using a PC. The capability enables users of Epygi’s Quadro devices to link seamlessly with Salesforce.com.

Warren Sonnen, marketing director at Epygi, told TMCnet that many of the company’s customers use Salesforce.com as their primary CRM application and sought a way to better utilize the system. Now, by partnering with Camirvox, Epygi can offer this type of integration.

SMBs can combine an Epygi Quadro device with Camrivox’s Flexor 500 handset and BizVox software to view a particular caller’s record right on the desktop phone. The system also lets users add notes to before the record is re-logged in the Salesforce.com database. Further, outbound calls can be controlled either from within Salesforce.com (using click-to-dial) or on the desktop phone. Call reporting tools are also included.

Maria Cuello, CEO at Epygi, said that partnering with Camirvox to introduce Salesforce.com integration is just one more example of the company’s commitment to offering SMBs the most technologically-advanced VoIP solutions.

“IP technology resellers and their customers will benefit from new efficiencies created by the simplified deployment and configuration of the phone with the Quadros through the autoprovisioning process,” Cuello commented in a statement.

Value-added resellers (VARs) offering Epygi and Camrivox products also benefit, added Malcom Wood, CEO at Camrivox.

“The Quadro is a fantastic premised based IP-PBX (News - Alert); feature rich, simple to use and inexpensive,” Wood said in a statement. “Complimenting it with a Flexor handset allows the VAR to address the Salesforce.com market with an aggressively priced solution to compete against the large Enterprise offerings currently available.”
