Dundas Data Visualization, a dashboard solutions provider, announced it is now offering its big data visualization solution on Amazon Redshift.
The solution, available on Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS), allows organizations analyze and present big data on the Amazon Redshift service. Redshift provides scalable, parallel data processing while Dundas Dashboard provides the interactive dashboards and visualizations for users. For this reason, integrating the two systems makes a lot of sense, Dundas officials said.
Organizations often fail to utilize large sets of transactional data due to a lack of processing power in traditional databases. Amazon Redshift is thus designed to allow customers to process large datasets and collect more accurate and detailed information on their performance.
The integration allows organizations to achieve the ROI they want from their big data investments, company officials said.
Under this partnership, the Amazon Redshift connector is built into the Dundas default installation, so organizations can quickly run their queries on data stored in Amazon Redshift, with the results directly accessible in their dashboards. As a result, Dundas customers get an opportunity to view and effectively harness their big data.
“With the Amazon Redshift petabyte-scale, fully managed data warehouse service in the cloud and Dundas’ data visualization solution, organizations are able to interpret information that enables better decision-making and stronger business results,” said Brian Matsubara, head of Global Technology (News - Alert) Alliances, Amazon Web Services.
Organizations can leverage the solution to support their data-driven strategies to capture growth opportunities and expand their market presence. Dundas’ support for Amazon Redshift addresses the need for companies to substantially improve decision-making, minimize risks, and uncover valuable insights that might be hidden in massive volumes of data.
“With Amazon Redshift, organizations are able to extract valuable information from their massive datasets,” said Scott Benzie, VP of sales and marketing at Dundas. “As a data presentation technology, Dundas Dashboard helps communicate this information to users in a format that is interactive and easy to understand.”
