Overland Park, KS based provider of Internet-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Internet Lead Management (ILM) software, VinSolutions recently released its Customer Portal, in collaboration with Salesforce.com (News - Alert).
In a press release, VinSolutions announced that the Customer Portal will provide the clients with instant access to VinCare Support directly from their all-in-one Dealership Marketing System platform.
VinSolutions’ “Dealership Marketing System” has been designed to provide 24/7 dealership sales and marketing information to their clients anywhere Internet access is available. This all-in-one internal management and external sales and service marketing solution platform includes search marketing, online advertising, social media marketing tools, mobile marketing, websites, ILM, CRM, sales force automation, desking, appraisal, finance, used vehicle marketing and market pricing, inventory management and distribution, window stickers, automated video tours, loyalty management and targeted marketing with email, text, direct mail and telemarketing services. This cloud-based system can be viewed from any smartphone including BlackBerry, Google DROID and iPhone (News - Alert).
The newly released portal based on Salesforce.com technology is expected to benefit more than 30,000 automotive dealers, who use VinSolutions. Through the Customer Portal, these users will get to enjoy greater functionality and visibility to their issues and questions.
VinSolutions’ automotive dealership customer include new tab in MotoSnap “Customer Portal”, which can be accessed for support anytime. The portal will allow create a ticket and see the status real-time as the VinCare team works to resolve the issue. The customers will also be allowed to request updates or make comments real-time on their issue or request. The portal will allow the users to search VinSolutions’ extensive Solution Library to get answers to their qestions quickly.
VinSolutions reportedly integrated Salesforce.com’s enterprise cloud computing technology through a customized Application Programming Interface (API) solution tailored to provide an interactive customer experience and enhance customer service. Both VinSolutions and Salesforce.com use unique platforms free of servers or hassle.
“We are committed to providing comprehensive solutions for our dealers. The Customer Portal allows us to provide service and technical support from our VinCare industry and product experts integrated into their current solutions platform anytime and anywhere with Internet access,” VinSolutions’ CEO, Mike Dullea commented in a statement.
In June, Automotive marketplace and consumer information website AutoTrader.com announced the completion of its acquisition of software company VinSolutions. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
