Cutting-edge offerings are being introduced by the telecommunications services providers across the globe to fulfill the ever-growing need for enhanced technology solutions and services.
Mavenir Systems (News - Alert), a provider of networking software solutions, is going to offer a range of converged IMS core and the application servers to T-Mobile (News - Alert) Czech Republic, a telecommunications services provider active within the Czech market, for deployment within wireless, wireline and enterprise platforms.
Active in delivering its services since the year 1996, T-Mobile Czech Republic has served around 5.4 million customers, making it a well-known telecom operator within the market sector. Additionally, the company also offers ICT and T-Mobile TV satellite TV services.
Developed with an aim to offer centralized services through a common platform comprising of the Converged Telephony Application Server (CTAS) and Rich Messaging Server (RMS), the comprehensive IMS solution by Mavenir is able to deliver Voice over LTE (News - Alert) (VoLTE) as well as Rich Communication Services (RCS) services to the users.
“Our IMS initiative is about implementing a single converged Voice AS and IMS Core that will also support wireless and wireline segments. We provide the flexibility and innovation to accelerate time to market and lower TCO by minimizing network impacts, reducing complexity and harmonizing the architecture,” commented Pardeep Kohli, president and chief executive officer at Mavenir Systems. “We are proud that Mavenir was selected as the RCS-e IM AS supplier for T-Mobile CZ and we are committed to successfully completing the RCS-e IM AS integration in T-Mobile’s multivendor network environment.”
