Assurity Life, a provider of protection-based financial solutions, recently deployed iPipeline’s iGO Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) solution in order to initiate the buying experience online for disability insurance.
Pipeline explained that its iGO product line is designed to ensure that everything from intelligent applications, drop tickets, and Part 2 forms to licensing and appointment information and data uploads are easily and rapidly completed and always in good order to speed processing and drive placement ratio lift.
The iGO DTC solution is based on the iGO e-App’s rules-based approach. It is an integrated platform that assesses needs and allows a consumer to apply directly online for products and coverage. A company can deploy the iGO DTC solution to deliver an enhanced sales experience to its customers and, in turn, further its business in an evolving online world.
Tim Wallace, chief executive officer at iPipeline, commented, “Many U.S. consumers prefer exploring various insurance options on-line, 24/7, while they are on the run or in the privacy of their homes. The information needs to be quick to access and easy to understand. iPipeline’s iGO DTC solution is deployed on carrier-selected distributor websites as an additional sales channel. The consumer can access the solution at the distributor’s site, explore disability insurance options, view a quote, and complete the process by filling out a few brief web forms.”
Assurity stresses that insurance is a technology-driven industry and it always looks to extend its consumer value proposition. The iGO DTC ensures that its selected distributors have a complementary selling channel to increase sales of disability insurance in today’s consumer-driven economy. With iGO, the company acknowledged that it was able to sell more disability insurance, producers are receiving commissions faster, and consumers are receiving pleasing online experiences to start the buying process.
