Indosoft Expands Functionalities with XML Library That Can Deliver Q-Suite ACD and Predictive Dialer Capabilities

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Indosoft, a company that has developed products including Contact Center and ACD Software for Asterisk (News - Alert) named Q-Suite, has just launched its newly improved XML library and API, which has elevated functionalities that third party application developers have available when using Q-Suite ACD for CTI (News - Alert) Integration to the Asterisk telephony platform. Development time is greatly reduced through the availability of Q-Suite API, due to the fact that it provides comprehensive ACD and Predictive Dialer functionality that leverages the phone service features already offered by Asterisk.

According to a press release, this new addition to Q-Suite increases the existing .NET (News - Alert) and Socket API libraries to provide organizations with a much broader choice when searching for an API that can develop Web based Applications with CTI functionality.

“This latest XML library furthers Q-Suite's leadership in delivering exhaustive contact center functionality that is complete with unlimited flexibility in creating and setting up queues and unique call workflow for ACD and phone service integration," said James Terhune (News - Alert), chief technology officer at Indosoft. "The enhanced library for CTI Integration is ideal for incorporating extremely powerful agent/operator/supervisor consoles within any ERP/CRM/Special Applications, and complements Asterisk's telephony functions with advanced contact center ACD and Dialer functionality.”

“Asterisk has transformed CTI Integration and provided vendor independence and standardization in an open source realm by removing the necessity of developing computer telephony applications and PBX wrappers for proprietary telephony cards,” he added. “This library for CTI Integration through Q-Suite ACD builds upon this benefit of Asterisk by providing a set of advanced API library for CTI Integration, greatly simplifying the ability of organizations to deploy advanced Asterisk based solutions to their established business domains."

In addition, the release claims that businesses desiring to create applications with a Web user interface can simply use Q-Suite's XML library to achieve IP telephony.

Q-Suite provides comprehensive ACD and Dialer capabilities that include skills based routing, queue prioritization, hot desking for agents, real-time queue overflow management, predictive dialing, real-time supervisor alerts, detailed CDR with call and agent activity, and real-time and statistical reporting.
