Since the birth of Nikola Tesla’s (arguably) three-phase electric power current, man has dominated the grid with new and exciting modes of energy storage, conservation, and utilization, and in Para Systems’ (News - Alert) all new EnTerra 3-Phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system, there can be found no exception.

Part of the Minuteman Power Technologies line, which constitutes a number of Power Protection products, including single and 3-phase UPS, Remote Power Managers (RPMs), Surge Protectors, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs), the EnTerra is an unshakeable bulwark of power supply stored precisely when you need it. With battery options ranging from 50/60Hz, and 10 to 40 kVA in potential capacity, the EnTerra has the ability to deliver emergency power for as little as four minutes, or as long as 37 minutes.

Those 37 minutes of extra time tapped in may not sound like much, but for people who work digitally in areas with continual power availability oscillation, those 37 minutes could mean more than enough time to save your work or, in an emergency situation where an outage takes place, they could mean the difference between life and death.

The EnTerra also prides itself on utilizing Adaptive Feed Cancellation (AFC) for low output harmonic distortion (<1% THD) linear load, and double conversion technology, yielding protection for massive electrical load bundles.

“The combination of centralized backup, high input and output power factors (0.99 and 0.9 respectively), and up to 94 percent system efficiency ratings mean EnTerra offers a substantial reduction in operating costs versus multiple single phase UPSs. Users can also reduce electrical consumption and operating costs when upgrading from older, less efficient three-phase systems,” explains Minuteman.

Receiving a 94 percent efficiency rating, Minuteman rightly predicates its product as such. Between its range of battery sizes and cooler operational requirements, the EnTerra exhibits a carbon footprint able to contend with any leading product in its market vertical.

Other features of the EnTerra include a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) communications card, product monitoring software, and internal bypass hardware. For more information on the all new Minuteman EnTerra, check out the particulars here.
