In today’s cyber world, customers and prospective clients not only expect to be able to reach companies whenever they want, they demand it. Top executives like CEOs and CTOs need to be accessible 24/7 and anything less than that can directly impede business deals.

Accordingly, the need for system uptime is of the utmost important as damage to telecom equipment in the event of an outage not only means frustration from CEOs, but a potential loss in business on the client side.

Fortunately for all top ranking officials out there, power protection leader Minuteman offers a series of products so that you can always have communication with your customers. With adequate power protection, an outage that could otherwise be crippling becomes manageable.

And if you don’t have power protection in place then Minuteman asks, “When the power goes out, who’s talking to your customers?”

Minuteman offers a power protection product line equipped with the tools needed to protect your entire system. This includes surge suppressors for small non-critical components, standby EnSpire series and line interactive Entrust, PRO-E, PRO-RT, and EnterprisePlus series UPSs for small to medium sized phone systems, and full on-line Endeavor UPSs for enterprise-wide systems requiring multiple hours of runtime.

The Entrust (News - Alert) uninterruptible power supply, for example, keeps servers, network devices and phone systems up. The Minuteman Entrust Series UPS offers automatic voltage regulation and slim-line profile perfect for a range of small to medium load applications.

“The Minuteman Entrust Series UPS is an exciting new UPS line that provides users all the features, usually available in higher-priced UPS products, to protect your valuable equipment: voltage regulation, spike and surge protection and battery backup,” Minuteman officials explain of the power protection product.

Each unit has four outlets that provide battery support along with spike and surge protection. There are an additional four spike and surge protected outlets for accessory devices that don’t require battery support and two outlets that are specifically spaced to support transformer block items.

The “small, uniquely designed, footprint” of the Entrust UPS, according to Minuteman, is ideal for placement on, or under, a desk. All models of the power protection series can also be installed vertically on a shelf in a rack or cabinet installation.
