Minuteman UPS/Para Systems (News - Alert), a leader in power protection technologies, kicked off April with a new set of rebates that offer customers a cost savings of up to $60. The rebates run until June 30.

Minuteman, a company that produces some of the industry's most reliable power technology products, has sold its power protection products in more than 100 countries throughout the world. For the next few months, customers can enjoy discounts on some of their favorite products including the PRO-E Series Line Interactive UPSs, the PRO-RT Series and MMPD Series PDU's.

The PRO-E Series Line Interactive UPS is an extremely compact uninterruptible power supply (UPS) offering automatic voltage regulation; additional battery capacity and higher power factor which allow for longer runtimes than competitive models, and six outlets, according to company officials. The series is ideal for telephone systems and rebates range from $7 to $20.“The PRO-E is a favorite among small to medium businesses for backing up telephone systems,” Duston Nixon, marketing communications specialist for Minuteman, told TMCnet. “Along with the comprehensive protection of Automatic Voltage Regulation, the PRO-E offers exceptional capacity and runtime. All of this comes in an extremely compact package, making it a great choice when space is at a premium.”

Rebates are also available on the PRO-RT Series Line Interactive UPS, for either $15 or $25. This series offers eight outlets, Automatic Voltage Regulation and a LCD Status Display that shows voltages and runtime.

The PRO-RT offers high-end features – rack or tower mounting, AVR, and LCD display – for an “extremely economical price,” according to Nixon.

“Along with versatile mounting, the PRO-RT allows IT managers to monitor their power via RS-232 and USB ports, or with an optional SNMP management card, options normally found at a much higher price point,” he added.

Customers can also save on the MMPD Series PDUs – power distribution units from Minuteman that offer lengthy power cords, versatile configuration options and premium features at a lower cost.

“Minuteman's Power Distribution Units are designed with the same goals in mind as the rest of our product lines – high-end features at an exceptional value,” Nixon said. “These units feature standard 15 foot power cords, versatile horizontal or vertical mounting on many models, and compliance with UL-60950-1 standards for data centers.”

The power protection company is offering rebates on this series from $10 to $60.

In March, the power protection company brought the Christmas cheer a little early as it offered instant rebates of up to $250.

The Texas-based company decided to offer the rebates to show its appreciation “for an excellent 2010,” according to company officials. There were rebates available for all the tools needed to protect entire networks, telephones or security systems.

“In the past, we have offered these rebates on well-established product lines as well as newly released products such as the PRO-RT series,” Nixon told TMCnet at the time. “Our goal is to provide our channel partners a vehicle to increase sales, as well as help both current and potential users get the most from their budget as they construct a power protection system.”
