The Buffalo Bills, the NFL team based in Orchard Park, NY, have announced a new partnership deal with PremCom, a provider of Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions in Western New York. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The agreement will allow PremCom to provide ShoreTel telephone and communications equipment for the Bills administration building, ticket office call center and Ralph Wilson Stadium. Once the installation is completed, the ShoreTel (News - Alert) system will support 500 phones with 20 users on mobility, and will reduce the team’s projected costs by more than 50 percent.
“Ease of use of the ShoreTel system was a huge factor in our decision. With the current renovation we need a system that reflects the overall improvements being made which directly relate to improved communications with our fans,” said Dan Evans, vice president of information technology at Bills. “With the guidance of PremCom, ShoreTel was the clear choice. The system’s ability to grow with us as we expand was also an important consideration.”
Unified Communications are gaining high importance in the communications industry in the recent days. PremCom has been successfully delivering IP telephony services with ShoreTel products, as ShoreTel and PremCom have partnered with businesses of all types and sizes for the past few years. The Bills believe that the use of the ShoreTel Enterprise Contact Center will improve productivity and efficiency in the ticket office, significantly improving the overall fan experience.
“As we’re Bills fans through-and-through, PremCom is thrilled to work with the team to install a ShoreTel system,” said Joe Griffo, Vice President of PremCom.
“Our company has always been committed to providing reliable, leading-edge solutions and we’re sure that the brilliantly simple ShoreTel solution is the perfect fit for the Bills organization,” he added.
