Opengear (News - Alert), a leading provider of critical infrastructure management solutions through advanced console servers, remote management, monitoring, and cellular out-of-band products, is set to have its day in the sun this week as Interop (News - Alert) New York kicks off.
The company has announced that the InteropNet SDN Lab, part of the annual conference running through Oct. 3 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, will include Opengear in its offerings. The Lab, a purpose-built laboratory to demonstrate software-defined networking systems and applications, will allow Opengear to showcase its cellular-enabled console servers and its central monitoring and management platform, Lighthouse.
“You can’t miss Opengear at an Interop event,” said Todd Rychecky (News - Alert), VP Sales America, Opengear. “Since 2011 we’ve been packing up our latest out-of-band management technology and putting it on display at Interop events. This year will be no different with the debut of an exciting new product releasing the first day of the expo. When you’re not seeing Opengear demonstrated in the SDN Lab, stop by booth #729 for a demo.”
Rychecky added that Opengear regularly participates in the InteropNet NOC (News - Alert) at the Las Vegas event, and is ready to put its interoperable solutions to the test in New York at this inaugural SDN Lab.
