Open source CRM provider, SugarCRM (News - Alert), offers the "Chicagoland SugarCRM meetup," for beginners and experts to highlight the latest tips and tricks for making the most out of SugarCRM.
The monthly meeting also offers an answer session with SugarCRM experts, and information about software patches and new releases.
The latest meeting, "Everything SugarCRM Chicago," held this past Thursday, was a success according to Intelestream, Inc., the company's partner in Chicago.
According to officials at Intelestram, the group was a "tremendous help" and provided attendees with considerations for "various CRM options."
Meetings are free of charge and take place the last Thursday of each month between 12:00 and 2:00 PM. Registration for the SugarCRM Chicago meet-up group can be found by visiting http://opensource.meetup.com/86/.
Commenting on the success of the first meeting, Jason Green, Founder and CEO of Intelestream said, "Everyone said the meeting was a tremendous help. There were people there who were considering various CRM options and just wanted to learn more about Sugar, people who are already using the application, and programmers interesting in learning more about SugarCRM code. I believe these regular meetings benefit all."
Intelestream, Inc. is the only authorized SugarCRM partner in Chicago and offers SugarCRM professional services for implementations of all sizes and all complexities.
David Choi, whose company recently implemented SugarCRM was quoted as saying, "I went into today's meet-up a bit unsure of what I was going to be able to take away from this meeting, but your tips and advice really exceeded all of my expectations!"
