Get ready to receive and make calls from within your SugarCRM deployment! OSScube, a Global Open Source (News - Alert) Enterprise for Open Source Solutions with expertise in outsourced product development, announced the release of OSSCube Voice - an open source integration of Asterix and SugarCRM.
A software implementation of a telephone private branch exchange, Asterisk (News - Alert) allows attached telephones to make calls to one another. It also helps to connect to other telephone services including PSTN and VoIP services. SugarCRM is the leading open source CRM software.
OSSCube Voice makes it possible to integrate actual calls with SugarCRM (News - Alert) as opposed to the call logging features that SugarCRM provides out of the box. OSSCube Voice inside the system logs and records all outgoing calls. Not only the tool allows easy access to the calls but also makes them easily manageable.
Apart from logging and recording outgoing calls, OSSCube Voice also handles all inbound calls through Asterisk. These multiple in-bound calls can be managed simultaneously and can also be routed to recipients inside SugarCRM through the Asterisk system, to make it easier for recipient agent to have the complete log and history available to them with the call right away when an inbound call is made to your sales and support channels.
“We are currently finetuning the application in an internal deployment and are very satisfied with the efficiency it is bringing in our sales and support processes,” said Vineet Agrawal, director (Alliances & Relations) OSSCube CRM in a statement. “The one element that CRM softwares were not easily able to track is now being very well integrated and this one will really empower many a SugarCRM users, including your organisation.”
OSSCube Voice will soon be launched through OSSCube CRM’s official channels.
OSSCube Voice will be another feather to the company’s cap which has partnered with leading technology development companies such as Sensiolabs, Acquia, SugarCRM, Zend and EnterpriseDB to provide most innovative and effective solutions.
