SugarCRM Integrates with Talend

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

Users, developers and partners of SugarCRM will now be able to instantly integrate their deployments with third party databases and applications thanks to newly announced SugarCRM integration with open source data integration software provider, Talend's solutions.

SugarCRM will be integrated into Talend Open Studio—certified by SugarCRM's SugarExchange Certification Program, Talend On Demand and Talend Integration Suite.

"The fast adoption of our flagship solution illustrates that the market has been waiting for an open source alternative to current proprietary offerings. Users from some of the most well-known global companies in the world are using Talend Open Studio for their mission-critical data integration processes, a testament that our solutions continue to satisfy the needs of even the largest, most data-intensive organizations," commented Bertrand Diard, co-founder and CEO of Talend.

The integration of SugarCRM within Talend's open source data solutions also makes it possible for SugarCRM data to be utilized in "Business Intelligence applications, synchronization and replication of SugarCRM data with other systems, and migration to SugarCRM" a news release noted.

SugarCRM 's Chairman, CEO and Co-founder, John Roberts (News - Alert) will participate in the upcoming INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2007  at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, September 10-12, 2007.

The session, "Open Source: Too Good to Be True?" will be held on Wednesday September 12, 2007 1:45pm- 2:30pm. During the session, Roberts will compare open source and proprietary options at several levels from agent telephones and computers to servers and telephony systems as well as provide several real-world examples of the way enterprise-level contact centers are using open source to varying degrees to improve their business.
