Network performance management specialist SevOne has been named to Stratecast's "Global OSS/BSS 10 to Watch" in 2012 list, an annual report that honors companies found to be creating innovative, agile and savvy business solutions that address critical objectives.
Nancee Ruzicka, director of OSS/BSS Global Competitive Strategies at Stratecast, said in a statement that SevOne was selected on the back of its networking performance management solution, which "gives customers real and immediate business value through its ability to quickly deploy massively scalable, integrated performance management."
The report found SevOne's ability to deliver unified performance management helps to provide real-time, network-wide visibility and an end-to-end view over how critical infrastructure is performing – all through a "fast, scalable, and configurable architecture."
The SevOne Performance Appliance Solution (PAS) is known as the most comprehensive data collection, monitoring, reporting and analysis solution on the market today. With its unique peer-to-peer architecture, the highly customizable PAS is faster and more scalable than competing solutions, and can begin monitoring a network within minutes of installation.
Another differentiating factor is SevOne's all-in-one nature, which eliminates the need to purchase additional software packages or reporting modules. The full-featured appliance supports over 15 collection methodologies including SNMP monitoring, NetFlow collection, real-time reporting, latency measurements and IP SLA provisioning.
In addition to monitoring and collecting data, users can leverage PAS to create sophisticated reports that can be shared with decision makers via customizable dashboards and portals.
Perhaps best of all, PAS is an open platform that can integrate with leading third-party tools like CA Spectrum (News - Alert), HP OpenView, EMC Ionix and IBM Tivoli.
"Being included on Stratecast's 10 to Watch list is a testament to the innovative architecture of our solution which enables our enterprise and service provider customers to obtain complete and immediate visibility at unprecedented scale," stated Mike Phelan, CEO of SevOne. "We listen to our customers and the ongoing development of our innovative network performance management solution strives to address their current and future business goals."
