Provider of Remote Performance Management (RPM) solutions Apparent Networks has released AppView Web, an add-on Web application performance network monitoring module for the PathView Remote Performance Management suite of cloud-based services.
The company said that this offering is the newest addition to the AppView collection of application-specific modules that bring the capabilities of Apparent Networks (News - Alert) performance management solutions to the application-specific perspective -- for example, voice, video, Web traffic, IP storage and backup.
This add-on Web application performance network monitoring module provides real-time insight out to any business critical websites and Web-based applications for CRM, hosted e-mail, hosted data storage and backup, voice, Web conferencing and internal custom services, said company officials.
By offering measurement of live Web transactions, AppView Web allows the understanding of performance of any internal or external website from any location, said company officials.
Concurrently, AppView Web measures the pure network performance and detailed Web performance activities from multiple locations. Company officials said that thanks to this it becomes simple to identify the root cause of poor application performance.
Leveraging the PathView microAppliance, AppView Web obtains the specific, real-time performance perspectives that are critical to end users and day-to-day business operations and productivity.
“The AppView Web module adds another valuable capability to the suite of PathView Remote Performance Management services with the addition of website and cloud-based application monitoring,” Jim Melvin, CEO at Apparent Networks
Now, network engineers and managed service providers can know why they are seeing slow service performance from their remote offices and client sites, said Melvin, adding that with AppView Web, visibility into any public or private website is available, from any remote location.
Last month, Apparent Networks and MSPexcellence announced a business coaching and partner productivity program for managed service providers.
