Ethernet Internet.com has announced the availability of CBeyond Ethernet over Copper (EoC) solutions for cloud computing connectivity.
Companies are increasingly adopting cloud computing services. According to a study published by TheInfoPro in September, “explosive growth” is expected across a number of enterprise cloud computing projects in the next two years.
“Cloud computing is on the upswing and demand for public cloud services remains strong,” said Yulitza Peraza, analyst for quantitative services at 451 Research (News - Alert) and co-author of the Cloud as-a-Service overview report.
In addition to security concerns, connectivity issues are delaying the widespread adoption of cloud computing. EoC solutions are thus designed to support the need for large bandwidth, providing the benefits of flexibility, cost effectiveness and bandwidth scalability.
Ethernet Internet.com is now offering EoC Internet Solutions from Cbeyond (News - Alert), said Mike Sickle, president and founder of Dynamic Network Advisors, adding that EoC “provides a fast and affordable alternative to T1 infrastructure for the applications such as the cloud computing connectivity.”
The service division of Dynamic Network Advisors, Ethernet Internet.com, provides educational and informational content about Ethernet Internet. It publishes insights and best practices on selecting, deploying and troubleshooting Ethernet Internet.
Cbeyond, meanwhile, is a provider of broadband, mobile voice and data, IT, and business phone service. It provides an integrated bundle of business-grade services that include broadband, PRI, hosted PBX (News - Alert), SIP trunks, web hosting, cloud servers, email, data backup and security, voicemail, and more.
This year in February, the company announced its capability to reach over 190,000 multi-tenant buildings across the U.S. The company’s markets, which include Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seattle, have access to a broader Metro Ethernet footprint , offering up to 100 Mbps of network connectivity to businesses poised to embrace Cloud computing services.
