NetQin Mobile, a provider of mobile security services, announced the launch of version 4.0 of its Mobile Manager application with enhanced privacy protection features.

Supporting Android platform version 2.1 and above, the new version of the application offers a revamped user interface, improved integration with NQ Space, NetQin's personalized Cloud service and increased benefits for premium subscribers.

Offering a number of advantages to mobile customers, the new release is designed to enhance mobile communication productivity. One of the highlights of NetQin Mobile Manager V4.0 for Android (News - Alert) is the newly added feature Privacy Eraser.

Privacy Eraser allows the user to easily delete communication logs that the user doesn't want others to see. The Private Space feature will assist user to conceal communication and personal contacts for privacy, in addition to helping the user block unwanted calls and filter spam SMS as well as back up contacts.

Company officials said the NetQin Mobile Manager 4.0 is available for free to download directly from the Android Market on supported Android devices.

“As more consumers adopt smart-phones the need for user-friendly data security and privacy controls is increasingly urgent. Mobile Manager 4.0 demonstrates our continued focus on improving the user experience and adding increased functionality to devices,” said Henry Yu Lin, chairman and CEO of NetQin, in a statement.

NetQin Mobile recently announced that two of its key offerings, NetQin Mobile Anti-virus V4.0 and NetQin Mobile Manager V3.2 for Android, have hit HTC (News - Alert) Marketplace or HTC Likes.
