As it is likely that many excited individuals will be unwrapping brand spanking new smartphones, tablets and laptops this holiday season, Silicon Valley-based Zenprise (News - Alert), a provider of a robust mobile device management solution, has revealed that two of its customers are now leveraging its offering as a way   to drive security and reduce costs within both the enterprise and personal environments.

Red Robin, a fast food restaurant known for its amazing and juicy burgers, was recently faced with the major decision of how it could utilize iPads to drive communication between managers as well as power an array of learning products directly to employees. The company ultimately decided to use 1,700 iPads within this country for the above mentioned functions in addition to checking in guests and informing people in regards to exactly when their tables are ready. It ultimately implemented Zenprise’s platform as a way to remotely manage and secure the company-owned iPads no matter where they were physically located, a recent article revealed.

Formed back in 2003, Zenrpise offers support to increase mobility within a variety of organizations and currently caters to verticals such as aerospace and defense, financial services, healthcare, oil and gas, legal, telecommunications, retail, entertainment and federal, state and local governments.

Additionally, Encompass Home Health, a provider of home health, hospice and pediatric care to homebound patients, has turned to Zenprise as it was looking for a way to distribute its clinical documentation app to the nearly 2,300 Android (News - Alert)-based Samsung Galaxy tabs its workforce utilizes. Not only can Zencloud help to expand Encompass’ mission-critical operations, it also enables the organization to adhere to rigorous mandates outlined by HIPAA.

In related news, in a survey just published by the mobile device management provider, when asked in what ways companies throughout the world are investing in strategies to increase mobility amongst entire corporations, findings show:

·         74.7 percent of respondents said they already have or will be leveraging mobile apps to support business activities within the New Year

·         23.4 percent of respondents revealed seeing a significant return on investment (ROI) shortly after their mobile initiatives were deployed

·         81 percent of organizations will be taking advantage of custom apps in next 12 months

Involving nearly 500 professionals for this extremely informative survey, Zenprise is clearly showing the vitality of introducing a mobile ecosystem into businesses worldwide before it is too late.
