Enterprise mobile device management and BYOD solutions provider SOTI has just implemented MobiControl’s mobile device management solution at JJ Food Service Limited, a U.K.-based food, drink and packaging distribution company.

JJ Food Service deployed the mobile device management solution to increase the productivity and efficiency of its mobile fleet across the U.K. With the mobile device management solution in place, the food distributor gains access to real-time support, software deployment and GPS location tracking of its mobile workforce.

The company has seamlessly integrated its mobile application, JJM Delivery as well as its Enterprise Resource Planning system, Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics AX, with MobiControl, to save time and money while streamlining the accuracy of its processes.

SOTI MobiControl is an advanced mobile device management solution that supports Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies. The solution has provided JJ Food Service with a centralized MDM solution that allows the managers to remotely view and control applications running on handheld devices.

Carl Rodrigues, president and CEO, SOTI, said in a statement, “MobiControl's advanced remote support, help desk, software deployment, and location tracking functionality has improved the workflow and processes of their mobile projects. By leveraging this next-generation offering, JJ Food Service is also able to detect malfunctioning hardware and software in the enterprise network while simultaneously deploying security policies and software updates to remote users.

Back in June, TMCnet reported that SOTI had deployed MobiControl at a beverage distributor, with the goal of helping the business to overcome all the technical glitches its mobile workforce encounters.
