Offered as part of the Numara Cloud family of IT operations management solutions, the new mobile device management solution enables IT organizations to securely manage mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The solution also provides deep integration into Numara Cloud IT Operations Management solutions.

In addition, the mobile device management solution delivers real-time tracking for mobile device applications and system usage, while simultaneously providing a complete picture of device access and capabilities linked to the network.

Numara’s cloud mobile device management solution allows for easy and secure registration for all mobile devices accessing the network and auto-provisions, based upon a company's specific configuration policies.

Additionally, the Numara Software Exchange Defender prevents unmanaged mobile devices from accessing the Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange environment, eliminating the risk of critical data leaks via e-mail. The Numara Software Exchange Investigator supports ongoing risk assessment, identifying the potential exposure to malicious e-mail hackers by providing executive-level reporting, detailing the number of users and mobile devices connected to exchange.

With GEO-Locating GPS options integrated with Google (News - Alert) Maps, the mobile device management solution enables the IT department to easily locate and recover lost or stolen devices.
