Mobile Device Management Provider MobileIron to Discuss Blackberry Migration with Thames River Capital

Founded in the fall of 2007 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, MobileIron was created to help IT, finance and end-users move their smartphone data into the enterprise cloud securely. In fact, the MobileIron VSP is the first solution introduced to the market that was able to seamlessly integrate data-drive mobile device management with real-time wireless cost control.


The company has recently revealed that in conjunction with U.K.-based Thames River Capital, the duo will be presenting tips and best practices in regards to assisting Blackberry users at enterprises transition to next-generation platforms such as iOS and Android (News - Alert) within the next year. A just released survey fueled this not-to-miss event, as it showed that approximately 30 percent of Blackberry users at organizations with 10,000 or more employees will be transitioning to these platforms within that time period.

Scheduled to speak at the one hour event that will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM London Time or 7:00 AM Pacific Standard Time are Thames River’s IT Manager Robert Cockerill and MobileIron’s VP of Strategy Ojas Rege who will delve deep into topics such as what factors to closely analyze when migrating from Blackberry to iOS, security policies that are important to be implemented within iOS devices in a Blackberry environment, and how to efficiently and securely utilize a BYOD (bring your own device) program into a financial services organization.
