A distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, announced the “New Start America” program for the U.S. market. The program, rolled out by Westcon, is designed to help resellers take advantage of unified communications, wireless networking and IT security opportunities in the state and local, education, and federal market segments covered in the new Federal Stimulus Package.

 

Last month, the company held a Webinar series entitled, “The Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: Cracking the Code to Revenue Opportunities,” with nearly 1,000 resellers in attendance.

With the newly enacted $787.2 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the US Government will become the largest IT consumer in the world.
