Telarus (News - Alert) Inc., a premier telecom master agent and patent holder of real-time carrier quotes, has announced it has been named one of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Utah for the second consecutive year. The honor came from MountainWest Capital Network (MWCN), the largest business networking organization in the state of Utah; the award was given at a gala held in Salt Lake City in late October.

This award shines a light on our efforts and the results are here for all to see. To be recognized in the same banquet as companies like SkullCandy Inc., Ancestry.com, and Vivint is a real honor." 

The Fastest Growing awards are based on percentage revenue increases over a five-year period (2012 revenue divided by 2008 revenue), requiring a minimum of $50,000 revenue in 2008. Telarus' revenue growth during that period was over 200 percent.

Telarus, Inc. relocated its headquarters from California, where the company was founded in 2002, to Utah in 2004. Since then, Telarus has added more than 40 new employees. "The team we've been able to assemble here in Utah has been phenomenal," said David Bashford, COO of Telarus. "From our Utah headquarters we are able to support the sales activities of hundreds of our sales partners, most of whom reside outside of the state. We're excited to be recognized by the MWCN and to be an active member of the Utah business community."
