There are many pros and cons for selecting a master agent and related consulting services. But, if the company does its homework and picks the right professional consulting service, it can reap many benefits. With thorough analysis of existing business problems and development hurdles, the right consulting services can help organizations plan for improvement and future growth. They can deliver solutions quickly and cost-effectively with the ability to think ahead. Thus, this is helping businesses and organizations to tap very opportunity that comes their way while meeting business and technology objectives.
Consequently, more and more businesses and organizations, especially in the telecom sector, are looking for consulting services that can help them achieve their goals. Seeing this increasing popular trend, Avaya (News - Alert) has developed two new consulting practices to help telecom partners' customers achieve specific goals in cloud communications and collaboration.
The first of the two is the Cloud Transformation Services. It is designed to help large enterprises and service providers walk through cloud communications implementations. The second, which is also geared toward enterprises, offers Continuous Performance Services. In this case, users pay on a subscription basis for consulting work related to SIP technologies, network security, self-service automation and cloud platforms.
According to Avaya, resellers can take advantage of these new services by simply following the same process they already do when securing Avaya Professional Services. The Avaya consulting team then meets with the partner to prepare a statement of work and a quote the partner can take to the client, said Sanjeev Gupta (News - Alert), vice president of marketing for Avaya Professional Services.
Using Avaya Professional Services does not cost resellers extra money. In fact, according to a recent article, "These services enable channel partners to expand the share of wallet." This is especially key as 47 percent of customers surveyed by Avaya say they are considering cloud platforms.
Concurrently, Avaya’s Gupta also indicated that that all vertical industries, including multi-location firms, thinking about optimizing configurations or upgrading or replacing infrastructure are ideal candidates for the consulting services.
In a statement, Brian Riggs, principal analyst at Ovum (News - Alert), said, “Businesses are turning to collaborative communications environments to improve employee productivity and provide a more engaging experience for their customers. But determining how communications technologies—such as cloud communications, SIP, video and contact center solutions—can be most effectively leveraged in enterprises can pose significant challenges that require expert help. Consultants, such as those behind Avaya’s Cloud Transformation Services and Avaya Continuous Performance Services, are often key for businesses to derive the most benefits from their investments."
