EarthLink has revealed that World Telecom Group (News - Alert) (WTG), a nationwide master agency has just signed the company’s Channel Partner (News - Alert) agreement.
California-based WTG is a prominent master agent with a diverse industry portfolio and more than 1,500 master agent partners located around the United States. This new agreement empowers its master agent partners to sell EarthLink Business voice, data and managed services products nationwide across its newly expanded network footprint that includes a MLPS platform and 28,000 route fiber miles.
Vince Bradley, president and CEO at WTG, said that EarthLink’s thoughtful and strategic evolution as a managed services provider and the launch of its new nationwide voice and data IP services later this year make the company a compelling choice for customers and an important Provider Partner.
“This mutually beneficial new contract is a win for both WTG and EarthLink, giving our sub-agents confidence in commission protection that will help us substantially grow our relationship,” Bradley added in a statement.
EarthLink is a partner of master agent TBI, as well as a provider of Internet Protocol (IP) services to medium-sized and large businesses.
“WTG has been a long-time partner and the signing of our new nationwide consolidated agreement now enables the master agent to sell the unified EarthLink Business portfolio across the country,” said JR Cook, business vice president of Channel Partners at EarthLink.
Last month, Earthlink (News - Alert) signed an agreement to purchase the IT Solution Center and hosted application business from Synergy (News - Alert) Global Solutions, a provider of hosted IT products, services and solutions.
