Blackmagic Design, a manufacturer of video editing products, announced the expansion of master agent networks in Russia with the addition of JC Systems Integration, OKNO TV and Feel Systems as new Blackmagic Design master agents.

Currently there are two master agents in Russia -- Provis and SVGA. The three new master agents will bring a wide range of expertise across broadcast and post production, company officials said.

With this master agent partnership, Blackmagic expects to bring large broadcast systems integrations, ENG, SNG and OB, film production and post production with modern file-based workflows.

In Russia, the demand for video across a wide range of mediums is growing at an incredible rate. To meet this growth demand, broadcasters and filmmakers are increasingly turning to broadcast, post, AV and IP-based service providers that can integrate Blackmagic Design’s portfolio of products into any broadcast or post production workflow.

Blackmagic Design’s products revolutionize the television industry by making advanced post production tools affordable to thousands of creative professionals, company officials said.

Recently Blackmagic Design announced Compact Videohub, which the company claims as the world's smallest 40 x 40 SDI router that fits into an incredibly tiny 2 rack units of space.

In another recent announcement the company offered a major new update for its Mini Converter UpDownCross and Mini Converter HDMI to SDI. The new Mini Converter software update includes the addition of closed captioning support and seamless integration into the Canon (News - Alert) 5D MKII workflow.

Company officials added that all new and current Blackmagic Design master agents will carry the entire line of Blackmagic Design products. They will commence sales and shipping of Blackmagic Design products immediately and will support the needs of Blackmagic Design’s existing customer base.
