TEOCO Corporation has entered into a partnership with network intelligence technology provider Qosmos.

Devolites said that Qosmos' (News - Alert) NI technology is a critical component of TEOCO's ping solution, enabling the collection of valuable network and subscriber intelligence.

Officials with TEOCO Corporation said that ping is the newest offering in the company’s SONAR suite of usage analytics solutions. ping collects and correlates millions of disparate events and data transactions - tying together real-time network activity with service providers' business support systems (BSS) and content partners; delivering valuable information that can be leveraged across the organization.

Company officials said this is accomplished by using Qosmos' NI probes along with TEOCO's advanced analytics platform.

The result, company officials said, is a solution that enables service providers to drive new business models and revenue streams by deriving intelligence from the data traversing the nework.

"Service providers are currently at a crossroads," said Thibaut Bechetoille (News - Alert), CEO of Qosmos.

Bechetoille said that they must continually offer innovative new services and applications, build out their networks to accommodate the increased demand for high bandwidth, and provide access to OTT services, all while keeping an eye on monetizing these offerings and maximizing ARPU.

He said that solutions like ping will make this transition much easier by providing visibility into network data for more value-added, efficient, secure and profitable applications and services.

TEOCO Corporation is a major player in network cost management.

Back in August TEOCO Corporation had announced that it has acquired TTI Team Telecom International, Ltd. (TTI Telecom (News - Alert)), an Israel-based provider of operations support systems (OSS) and business support systems (BSS) for telecommunications service providers.
