BluePhoenix Solutions, a provider of knowledge management (KM) software solutions for contact centers and customer-facing organizations, announced partnership with IndigoCube, a certified consulting, training and software provider in South Africa.

The partnership focuses on leveraging BluePhoenix's flagship knowledge management platform called KMS Lighthouse to help contact centers offer a world-class customer experience.

“BluePhoenix and IndigoCube are a perfect match: BluePhoenix's leading products with IndigoCube's track record of delivery, training and support capabilities brings real added value to the market,” said Nir Lavion, GM KMS division at BluePhoenix, in a statement.

The partnership between the two companies will provide clients with the software and service solutions required to successfully address today's market challenges, according to Ziaan Hattingh, MD of IndigoCube. “Excellent product and excellent delivery capabilities are the way to create value.”

BluePhoenix serves telecom operators, cable and satellite TV broadcasters, financial institutions, logistics service providers, public sector organizations, hi-tech corporations, transportation and aviation companies, and many more.

KMS Lighthouse offers contact center agents and end users the right knowledge at the right time. The data provided is extracted from a broad range of sources and brought into an easily accessible central repository, allowing for fast and effortless information retrieval, company officials said.

BluePhoenix's portfolio features a comprehensive suite of tools and services ranging from global IT asset assessment and impact analysis to automated database and application migration, re-hosting and renewal.

The company works with customers to identify assets that need to be migrated, redeveloped or wrapped for re-use as services or business processes. As a result, they can protect and increase the long-term value of their business applications and legacy systems, while ensuring minimal risk and downtime, according to company officials.

Recently BluePhoenix Solutions (News - Alert) announced it has won a contract worth $500,000 from a leading U.S. federal sector IT service provider to modernize the Natural/ADABAS environment in order to reduce its cost structure, improve flexibility and have a solid platform for future growth.
