Consona has introduced the general availability of Paradigm Version 3.7 (v3.7) and a new System Alerts Module. The solution boasts several enhancements to serve the demands of today’s printed circuit board industry.
Specifically, the release includes a Plan by MRP (MRP Action List) function which generates and automates an action list of the required transactions that result after running MRP.
Consona (News - Alert) has also included a non-nettable raw material processing feature in Paradigm v3.7. This feature enables raw materials that are suspected of being defective to be categorized with special consideration with regards to an ERP transaction, so as to not be used in MRP reporting.
In addition, other usability and user interface enhancements have also been included in this version. Users have the option of choosing the SAM module as an add-on and this can deliver real-time notifications to both systems users and decision makers through mobile device or PC.
Paradigm SAM efficiently provides a direct message to the proper user according to pre-defined requirements and thus people will know important information such as when materials have arrived, when rejects occur on the shop floor, materials require inspection, or when a new sales order has been entered.
If such comprehensive information is available users can take suitable action. The designers have included over 50 alerts regarding sales, production, quality, materials, finance and maintenance. This new version is compatible with Paradigm versions 3.4 and higher.
Emily Eastman, systems administrator, Amphenol (News - Alert) Printed Circuits noted that System Alert Module gives users the flexibility of staying in touch without having Paradigm Running.
While customer returns are reviewed for disposition very fast now, the system lets the quality group know when receiving is completed and it also eliminate excess email.
“We are pleased to bring Paradigm customers and prospective users the System Alerts Module to help them get even more value and effectiveness out of the Paradigm ERP system,” said Frank O’Nell, vice president of product management for Consona’s ERP products. “At Consona, we pay close attention to customer feedback and the evolution of technology in order to stay ahead of our customers’ needs and requests, and deliver the best solutions in the industry.”
