Recognizing the rising prevalence of speech technologies, and looking to boost business and raise awareness, Wizzard Speech, a provider of high-quality and cost-effective text-to-speech technologies, has announced new pricing for the New Year.

“For a limited time we are offering additional levels of discounting for volume licensing of our popular AT&T (News - Alert) Natural Voices text-to-speech technology,” the company noted in a release. “This technology is available in SDKs, the Wizzard Wavefile Factory, and the Wizzard Wavefile Service, in eight U.S. English and two Spanish voices.”

The product offerings are designed to enable clients to create and deploy computer-generated human sounding audio across a wide range of platforms and solutions.

Founded just last year, Wizzard Speech has been working to become a leader in text-to-speech technologies for both development and corporate communities.

In addition to the above offer, Wizzard Speech also announced the availability of a Java interface with the AT&T Natural VoicesSDK.

"Our clients asked and we have responded," said Bruce Phifer, the company’s general manager. "Plus we are very happy to offer additional discounts [for a limited time] with volume agreements so that our licensed clients can deploy and distribute this commercial grade technology at very compelling prices."

Wizzard Speech is designed to appeal to software developers, integrators and corporate business clients alike. The voice quality can be sampled at its corporate site, where potential customers can review information about how to license the technology to voice-enable a range of projects such as kiosks, ATMs, e-learning, websites, broadcasting, transportation, IVR, simulators, e-books, assistive apps, server based iPhone/Android (News - Alert) Apps and more.

According to the company, “Wizzard Speech's objective is to be the preferred supplier of speech technology by offering the finest technology and support through a broad range of licensing options that will enable speech technology usage and distribution at the most compelling prices to its customers.”
