As a pioneer of the cloud, Angel needs all the support it can get to maintain its momentum in the IVR and call center solutions space, and a significant part of this support has to do with its team.

A provider of enterprise-focused, cloud-based Customer Engagement Management solutions, Angel has now welcomed Steve Holton as senior vice president of sales and field operations. In this position, Holton – a cloud veteran – will oversee Angel’s entire revenue-generating functions, as well as its multi-channel IVR and call center solutions.

Holton has more than 19 years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, business development and support, having served in senior-level executive positions at Webroot, Entrust (News - Alert) and RightNow Technologies, where he served as vice president of sales. There, he was behind the launch and execution of the company’s “dust to IPO” go-to market plan, which produced $65 million in revenue and 27 consecutive quarters of revenue growth before it hit a milestone 2004 public offering.

Undoubtedly, Holton’s experience has certainly prepared him for his new role at Angel, where customer experience management and SaaS solutions are the norm.
