IVR Technology Group has introduced iConfirm, described by company officials as “a feature-rich, streamlined approach to automated appointment reminder services.”
The system features a pleasant sounding voice that provides a confirmation of the exact day and time of the appointment along with and specific appointment information directly to the called party.
Company officials said it’s designed to move away from the more mechanized approach to automation.
“Because iConfirm is a virtual person and not a human, the message delivered is consistent, pleasant, and always timely and at a rate that is considerably less,” said Mike Byrne, ITG’s president, adding that iConfirm is “more secure and less prone to human error in terms of dialing and passing along accurate information.”
It’s certainly hard to beat the availability – online and ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Company officials say iConfirm is “capable of handling large and small appointment surges, allowing users to make contact without the concern of not having enough human labor to complete the calls.”
The service interfaces with host databases for integration with the appointment reminder service module hosted at ITG.
Angel.com is another IVR provider with connections to the health care industry. It has a longstanding relationship with AstraZeneca, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and has previously helped the company reduce costs per lead by using the IVR inbound and outbound campaigns, which put customers first in the communication forefront.
In other IVR news, earlier this month, IVR provider Angel.com announced that it has secured another agreement with the pharmaceutical company, to provide a number of brands from the company with its new Caller First voice products.
While used heavily in the telecom industry, and mainly, for call centers, for years, other markets, including retail, medical and many others have jumped on the IVR bandwagon and implementing this system as an effective and time efficient communication tool for connecting with customers.
