Pinless long-distance calling service provider, CallDirek, announced a new Integrated Voice Response system (IVR) for its agents and distributors. The company has made this announcement after twelve months of labor over the innovative technology that is currently offered to only a select number of companies on the market.
CallDirek claims it is one of the few whose agents are now able to recharge both pinless dialing and top up services via their mobile phones. This announcement creates a great opportunity for point of sales (POS) locations who do not have access to the Internet, and also for mobile resellers that use the streets for their offices.
CallDirek is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unitel, Inc., a Florida based corporation and a service provider of international telecommunication services including voice, data, IP and mobile signaling services.
“Through the launch of this exciting new technology, we hope to increase our transactions by over 20 percent throughout the next year,” said CallDirek’s CEO, Michel Francis. “In line with our culture of constantly enhancing consumer experience, we hope to launch more mobile applications on smartphone for our end users and resellers within the next 30 to 60 days.”
Read a related industry article at TMCnet, in which Jamie Epstein writes, the new IVR speech recognition system currently in use has been crafted through years of tweaks and refinements of the various developments in technology along with the ever-changing needs of consumers.
The huge growth of speech technological services in the past few years has spread from just conventional corporate uses to everyday uses by everyday citizens. Mobile phone manufacturers have recognized the need and have offered new services applications. These include voice recognition services like voice-dialing, speech-enabled GPS navigation, and other voice-powered applications such as auto-dictation, and voice search as stated in the press release. Because of this, network operators and device manufacturers are revolutionizing innovations in the area of voice- based products and services.
