USA Datanet, a company that specializes in IP
communications solutions using IP trunking, announced Friday that it received industry recognition for its leadership position in the industry.
The company was named to the 2007 Pulver 100 list, which specifies premier, privately-hold IP communications companies experiencing growth as they innovate to realize the potential of IP technologies.
More specifically, upstate New York-based USA Datanet was recognized for its line of hosted IP communications services designed for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Those services were launched into the central New York market last year, and now are being expanded into the Rochester area.
In its announcement, the company explained that its hosted IP communications services provides businesses with phone and high speed Internet access using a secure, dedicated broadband connection. This offering has particular appeal to SMBs because it eliminates upfront capital requirements, is simple to manage, and provides a platform for future value-added solutions.
USA Datanet CEO David Montenaro explained that the company’s services deliver to SMBs enhanced IP-enabled services previously available only to large enterprise users.
“For the most part, the SMB market has yet to reap the benefits of VoIP
and other IP-enabled services because the majority of these companies simply can’t justify the cost and internal resources required to build and operate their own network,” Montanaro said in a statement. “Now they don’t have to -- USA Datanet’s Hosted IP Communication Service provides all the advantages of enterprise-level IP communications technology at a price point that small and mid-sized businesses can afford.”
Scott Matukas, COO and President of USA Datanet added that that demand the company has seen for its services in the markets being served underscore the need for affordable, manageable telephony products.
“With our constantly expanding product portfolio of Hosted Communication Services that also include Email with Collaboration Tools, E-Faxing and Contact Center solution; USA Datanet is making converged communications a reality today,” Matukas said in a statement.
