Broadvox (News - Alert) has announced that INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo attendees will get three chances to learn more about SIP
Trunking from the Broadvox management team. According to the announcement, the team will be offering its perspectives to conference visitors at the Miami expo on January 23-25.
“Broadvox believes that ‘one size doesn’t fit all’,” said Broadvox Director of Business Development Eric Eckman. “Our extensive experience in delivering VoIP
services along with the partnerships we have enables us to provide a total solution to our customers.”
Broadvox will be the co-sponsor of a seminar presented by its technology partner InGate. Part 1 of the SIP Trunking
Workshop will start at 10:00am. Eric Eckman will be participating in the 12:30 session entitled “SIP Trunking – The Service Provider Perspective”—which is aimed particularly at IAD resellers and suppliers.
Broadvox VP of Marketing and Product Management David Byrd is scheduled to give a keynote address from 4:15-4:45pm. He will be speaking about the current state and future of the SIP marketplace.
Session attendees can take in Part 2 of the SIP Trunking Workshop, entitled “SIP Trunking for the SMB,” on Thursday, from 9:00-9:45am. This part will feature Broadvox VP of Channel Sales Mark Bresler (News - Alert).
“There is a lot of misunderstanding about SIP and SIP Trunking today,” said Bresler. “We will compare SIP Trunking to TDM
Trunking, present the economic benefits it brings, discuss the evolution of SIP from the recent past, where it is headed and educate the attendees on SIP Trunking deployment challenges and how to overcome them.”
