IP phones manufacturer snom will join dozens of telecom exhibitors in Orlando for VoiceCon, to be held March 22-25 at the Gaylord Resort.
The annual conference focuses on all things enterprise communications, from unified communications to VOIP and video. The VoiceCon Conference Program will address key issues, including planning and implementing IP telephony and converged networks; managing staff, technology and costs; communications applications; mobility/wireless communications; and next-gen communications technologies.
Representatives for snom – which plans exhibit its wares in booth #537 -- were not immediately available for comment. However, it is expected that the enterprise VoIP phones and conferencing technology will showcase both kinds of products.
At a conference held earlier this month in Las Vegas, representatives were on hand to demonstrate the 870 touchscreen desktop phone and its PA1 public announcement system. Additionally, the Beverly, Mass., company (with offices in Germany) is expected to showcase its snom MeetingPoint product.
The snom MeetingPoint is an SIP conference phone that allows you to use Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communication Server 2007 R2 and standard SIP accounts in one conference phone in parallel.
Released last summer, the snom 870 touchscreen phone is the latest addition to snom’s “8” series of fourth-generation SIP phones. It features a sleek, elegant design and powerful multimedia capabilities.
Another product, the snom PA1 Public Announcement System, gives a boost to existing SIP PBX (News - Alert) systems. The snom PA1 unites the functions of a telephone with a high-performance digital amplifier for broadcasting announcements and supplying background music to assigned rooms, hallways and office floors.
