One of the things Yealink (News - Alert), a provider of IP phones and communication solutions, prides itself on is its interoperability with other providers, platforms and services. For example, most recently the company has worked with STARVIEW, a provider of the STARFACE telephone system for SMBs; Innovative Systems, a provider of integrated solutions for the independent telecommunications industry; and Phonebooth, a division of Bandwidth and a provider of cloud-based business phone services.
The company is continuing its growing network of partners and interoperability with 3CX, the provider of the 3CX phone system and other IP communications solutions such as IP phones and VoIP gateways, to offer a “Best of Breed” unified communications solution for businesses with Yealink. The companies are combining 3CX’s Windows-based IP PBX (News - Alert) with Yealink’s IP phones to offer an interoperable end-to-end business telephony solution.
The 3CX phone system for Windows is a software-based IP PBX that makes it easier to manage and use any SIP phone, VoIP provider or traditional PSTN line. The Web-based console allows administrators to easily create extensions and make PBX configuration changes without needing the PBX vendor. A software-based phone system also offers scalability – organizations can add more phones and lines as they need without being limited by the ports or processor on the appliance.
3CX supports Yealink’s IP phones via the 3CX Management Console for plug-and-play provisioning, firmware upgrading and IP phone management.

The companies are also offering CTI integration – the use of computers to manage telephony calls – for Yealink IP phones and the 3CX Phone (News - Alert) System V12 so users can control their IP phones from their desktops, enabling productivity.
