Developer of IP desktop phones and IP communications solutions snom technology AG (News - Alert) today established a new distribution deal with Prime Interway, a value-added distributor based in Greenville, South Carolina, with offices in Brazil. As such, Prime Interway is now an official snom distributor able to offer the company's entire portfolio of business VoIP phones, IP PBX (News - Alert) solutions and UC-enabled endpoints to Prime Interway's network of value-added resellers (VARs), network service providers and system integrators in Brazil.

These resellers service major customers in nearly every industry sector, from banking and retail to manufacturing and field service.

“We were impressed with the quality and range of snom’s products and the value they offer users,” said Marco Castro, president of Prime Interway. “More and more businesses in our region are looking to take advantage of IP telephony solutions, including VoIP phones, IP PBX and snom UC edition phones for Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync. By offering snom’s products, we can better meet our customers’ needs.”

Prime Interway now has a business phone solution with access to the snom VoIP portfolio, adding to its lineup of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) products, which include supplies for barcode printing, reading and data capture, printing on demand, wireless infrastructure, and much more.

“It’s a great opportunity to offer our products through one of Brazil’s largest communications providers,” said Dr. Michael Knieling (News - Alert), chief operating officer, snom technology AG. “Purchasing snom products through Prime Interway gives customers peace of mind, knowing they are investing in high-quality equipment backed by first-class customer support and expertise.”

Recently, snom technology AG's snom m9 cordless DECT (News - Alert) phone completed interoperability with BroadSoft's BroadWorks hosted unified communications platform. Specifically, the snom m9 completed interoperability testing with BroadWorks Release 18.SP1.

In September, the company release a brand new VoIP desktop phone, the snom 710. The phone features a four-line display, fours SIP identities, five freely programmable function keys with LEDs, power over Ethernet, and much more.
