The IP telephony industry has been consistently abuzz with news of accomplishments from IP phone maker Yealink (News - Alert) over the past two months. And to keep up its streak of news of distribution deals, awards and announcements, the IP phone maker continues to visit trade shows and conferences around the globe to promote its IP desktop phones and additional telephony solutions.

Just this week at CeBIT 2012 in Hannover, Germany, Yealink has been in attendance at the annual communications and technology conference to highlight a number of its successful IP phones including Yealink’s Gigabit Color IP Phone (News - Alert) and Business Video Phone VP530. In addition to showcasing the company’s latest desktop phones, Yealink also unveiled its newest service, the Redirection and Provisioning Service (RPS) to its customers worldwide.

RPS is the latest service Yealink has added to its portfolio free of charge to Yealink customers across the globe. Yealink IP phone users can access the service by simply entering the MAC address of their IP phone and the URL of the provision server into Yealink's RPS.

According to the company, upon initial boot-up, the phone can be redirected to its pre-assigned server for configuration updating, eliminating the need for the company to unpack, configure or repack a phone before shipping it to the customer. By taking these additional steps, it greatly simplifies mass deployment by adding automatic configuration to the process which in turn saves significant time and money.

The VP530, an executive level IP Video Phone was designed with an emphasis on user experience, a factor Yealink puts a great deal of focus on for its entire IP phone portfolio. Its large display and ease of use makes the phone an ideal all-in-one tool for today’s busy executives and managers regardless of their location. By creating an advanced face-to-face experience over the network, the VP530 enables users to collaborate with one another like never before.

Yealink also invited several of its partners including 3CX and Starface to jointly showcase their complete VoIP solutions at the booth this week at CeBIT (News - Alert). Yealink demonstrated how its phones operate with compatible systems to enhance business productivity and team collaboration. At the show, Yealink also provided various opportunities for customers to experience and explore more about Yealink phones and the potential benefits Yealink’s phones can provide for their businesses.
