TelcoDepot.com Expands snom IP Phone System Solutions in Online Store

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

TelcoDepot (News - Alert).com, an online store distributing a number of well-known business phone systems, has long been providing its customers with the latest IP phones and phone systems from snom. To further enhance TelcoDepot’s portfolio of equipment manufactured by snom, the online store has expanded the company’s IP phone system offerings with a number of additional phones.

According to a recent announcement, TelcoDepot.com now stocks a number of snom IP phone solutions including the snom 821, an IP business phone which includes a large HD color display and HD sound. Featuring a number of advanced IP telephony options, the 821 is an effective choice for a work phone using hosted VoIP or any SIP based PBX phone system.

The online store also now carries snom’s 870 model, a WiFi (News - Alert)-enabled touch screen IP phone, the snom 370 and the snom 300, both executive SIP-based devices. Adding to those devices are the snom 320 business IP phone complete with PoE capabilities, the DSS-enabled snom 3xx expansion module, snom’s m9 DECT (News - Alert) VoIP wireless expansion phone and the snom MeetingPoint VoIP-enabled conference phone.

Aside from VoIP desktop phones, TelcoDepot will also be distributing a number of snom accessories including snom MeetingPoint expansion microphones, M3 DECT repeaters and headsets such as the snom HS-MM3 which is compatible with the snom 300 phone and the snom HS-MM2 headset for snom 320, 360, 370, 820 and 870 phones.

"The snom range of phones present powerful business VoIP solutions for fast growing businesses. We now offer a wider range of snom IP phone systems, accessories, and more for our customers, to give them even more value while offering new reduced prices," says Yaron Ram, a TelcoDepot.com principal.

In recent news, snom also expanded the compatibility of its IP phone line with the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 platform. Although snom has already integrated MS Lync into a number of its desktop phones, the snom 300 UC edition, snom 370 UC edition and snom 821 UC edition have all now been added to the list.

Microsoft (News - Alert) tests and qualifies phones, headsets, webcams, conference room devices, PCs and other devices for Lync under its Compatible Devices Program. Optimized for Microsoft Lync means that a communications device will provide a high quality user experience, with "just works" installation, audio and video, and a lower total cost of ownership.
