IP phone maker Yealink has unveiled the Yealink DECT (News - Alert) Phone W52P that delivers exceptional HD voice quality and allows people to stay connected by a common network.

The SIP cordless phone system is designed for small and medium businesses (SMB) looking to improve communications through VoIP technology. The HD voice system creates a sound experience never previously reached in telephony, according to company officials.

The high-definition audio performance is attributed to three technology components integrated in the IP phone: the wideband G.722 codec, full-duplex speaker and HD handset.  The HD Codec G.722 wideband extends the frequency range of audio signals, particularly where transmission of the human voice is concerned.
