Yealink (News - Alert), a manufacturer and distributor of high-definition Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) end point devices, announced in a recent statement that its VP530 and T2x Series devices have successfully completed Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) interoperability compliance testing with Avaya, Inc.’s IP Office #8.1 solutions.

This interoperability compliance testing verified Yealink’s VP530 and SIP T2x Endpoint functionalities in an environment encompassing Avaya (News - Alert) IP Office, various Avaya H.323 and SIP IP telephones.

Yealink’s VP530 is a business IP videophone unified with audio, video and many other applications.

As quoted by Yealink, it offers customers with good user experience, optimal productivity and free collaboration.

Featuring seven-inch 800x480 digital LCD touchscreen, the VP530 business video phone also provides HD voice, full-duplex speakerphone; four VoIP accounts, three-way video conferencing; BLF, intercom, 18 one-touch soft DSS keys; total directory solution; Door phone application; TI DaVinci dual-core chipset, 2M CMOS camera; and more.

The Yealink T2x Series devices, which completed Avaya DevConnect interoperability compliance testing with Avaya, Inc.’s IP Office #8.1 solutions, are the next generation of VoIP phones customized for business users seeking rich telephony features, a friendly user-interface and high voice quality. 

It is integrated with the TI TITAN chipset that offers high-definition voice quality through a TI voice engine, HD handset, HD speaker and HD codec (G.722).

In addition, the T2x Series VoIP phones also feature large, high-resolution graphical display, combined with up to 48 keys.

More specifically, the Yealink SIP-T28P supports security standards TLS, SRTP, HTTPS, 802.1x, Open VPN and AES encryption for protection against electronic eavesdropping and data theft.

The Avaya DevConnect program encourages the development, compliance testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party products that are compatible with standards-based solutions from Avaya, Inc.

The member organizations of this campaign include companies offering a broad range of technologies, such as unified communications, contact centers and mobility applications.

With both VP530 and T2x Series devices completing Avaya’s DevConnect technical testing with Avaya, Inc.’s IP Office Release 8.1, Yealink has provided an opportunity for its customers to uncover new possibilities for getting more out of their communications infrastructure.
