Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), a provider of IP multimedia phones and video surveillance solutions, announced that managed telecom service provider AireSpring (News - Alert) has certified Grandstream HD IP multimedia phones interoperable for AirePBX solution.

AirePBX is a managed cloud hosted IP PBX solution from AireSpring.

Grandstream has tested its GXP21xx/14xx series enterprise high-definition (HD) IP phones and the GXV3175 next-generation IP Multimedia Phone (News - Alert) on AireSpring’s cloud hosted IP PBX.

The interoperability between AirePBX and Grandstream GXP HD IP Phones gives SMB/ enterprise customers an affordable, end-to-end managed solution with superior voice quality, company officials said.

The combined solution also gives enterprise and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) the ability to help curb financial and human resources required to purchase and manage an on-site PBX (News - Alert) telecom solution.

Grandstream’s GXP series of enterprise HD SIP telephones are known for their superior HD voice quality, PoE and XML customization flexibility, so they are the best fit for and productivity applications for enterprise and call center customers worldwide.

The IP phone set offers advanced IP telephony functionality, secure and automated provisioning capability, crystal clear voice communications as well as broad Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) interoperability, and integrated Web applications.

In a related development Grandstream Networks announced it has completed interoperability testing of Grandstream HD IP Phones with the phone system from Sonetel, a provider of scalable, free, global PBX service for businesses.
