Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, and AireSpring, a managed telecom service provider, announced interoperability and certification of Grandstream’s GXP21xx/14xx series enterprise high-definition (HD) IP phones and the GXV3175 next-generation IP Multimedia Phone on AireSpring’s (News - Alert) AirePBX cloud hosted IP PBX.
AirePBX cloud hosted IP PBXs help enterprise and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) curb financial and human resources required to purchase and manage an on-site PBX telecom solution. The integrated solution offers the same feature-rich functionality and is future proof. The flexible IP phone service allows them to upgrade their service according to the growing business needs.
“AirePBX is a cost-effective way for any SMB to update their telecommunications systems without the huge overhead of hosting and maintaining those systems themselves,” said Daniel Lonstein, AireSpring chief operations officer, in a statement. “Grandstream’s affordable and feature packed handsets fit perfectly with our goals of value, features and flexibility.”
Grandstream’s GXP series of enterprise HD Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) telephones offer superior HD voice quality, PoE, XML customization flexibility, and productivity applications for enterprise and call center customers worldwide.
These IP phones, especially GXP2100, GXP2110, GXP2120, and GXP1450 offer advanced IP telephony solutions, automated provisioning capability, clear voice communications, broad SIP interoperability, and integrated Web applications.
“AirePBX is the flexible, functional and affordable way to bring telecom power and features to the modern office, without any of the hosting and support hassles of trying to do it yourself,” said Todd Regan, AireSpring senior vice president of Marketing, in a statement.
The system does not require any additional hardware. Customers need only buy and maintain IP telephones. AireSpring even makes that easy by giving many of the Grandstream phones away for free with a 3 year contract, Regan added. Also, once installed, businesses can easily upgrade to any of AireSpring’s enterprise Local and Integrated products without the need to install new phone and data lines.
David Li (News - Alert), CEO of Grandstream Networks, said, “Grandstream remains focused on working with best of breed service provider customers, like AireSpring, to bring SMB managed solutions to the next level with the coupling of our broad portfolio of feature-rich, affordable and high quality HD handsets with AirePBX.”
Grandstream looks forward to work with AireSpring further to speed the adoption of managed VoIP networks to SMB customers everywhere, Li added.
Recently, Grandstream announced two new additions to the GXP line of Enterprise HD IP multimedia phones. Both the new GXP1400 and the GXP1405 are built to deliver top-quality HD audio and comprehensive functionality to the market at a competitive price, company officials said.
