IP Media Server: CNP Integrations Integrates SecureLive Security Monitoring to its Hosting Platform

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

CNP Integrations, which specializes in Joomla CMS configuration, consulting, programming and technical support, announced it has integrated SecureLive Security Monitoring and RackSpace cloud hosting to its cloud-based Web hosting platform.

The new hosting platform is designed to address the security concerns facing the online space. Experts anticipate cyber crime in 2012 could rise as high as 7000 percent from six years ago.

“With this type of rise in cyber crime we are making Web security a priority for all of our hosting customers,” said Chris Nielsen, CEO of CNP Integrations, in a statement. “CNP Integrations’ collaboration with the SecureLive team backed by the Rackspace (News - Alert) hosting infrastructure we feel will offer the highest level of security, service and technical support available.”

In October 2011, CNP Integrations started offering a completely cloud-based hosting environment to its clients. The service was designed to improve support coverage, ease of use and site performance powered by RackSpace infrastructure and “fanatical support.”

The cloud-based hosting is now bolstered with an additional layer of cyber security monitoring provided by SecureLive software solutions and their advanced security resource team, allowing the company to deliver an even higher level of focused and responsive application support service for Joomla CMS and Drupal.

SecureLive delivers proactive Web security solutions. They have shut down over 97,324,551 IP addresses from known hackers. Their patented software monitors traffic from across a global network before it gets to site content and automatically blocks or shuts down known intruders.

The SecureLive security team also works closely with the FBI to proactively hunt down and prosecute hacker threats, company officials said.

According to CNP Integrations, PHP based Web applications are more prone to hackers. Such sites should ensure they have server side protection. Also, they should upgrade the CMS core files and third party extensions. SecureLive acts like a gate keeper and protects these sites through a global network of monitoring systems, backed by a proactive security team.

In another such development, recently TMCnet reported that eIQnetworks (News - Alert) now offers a new approach to IT security called “unified situational awareness.”

SecureVue, the company’s flagship offering, provides a more accurate, in-depth view of an organization’s security position via a single console through comprehensive, real-time security monitoring, compliance automation, configuration auditing and forensic analysis.
