Target (News - Alert) Distributing of Germantown, Md., a nationwide distributor of advanced technologies, including voice over IP solutions and datacom products is now authorized to offer the complete line of Allworx (News - Alert) IP communications products, including IP phone and network systems.

This is good news for the distributor. As per the agreement, Target will now carry Allworx’s advanced VoIP premises-based PBX (News - Alert) systems, integrated IP telephones and IP switches. 

"Target shares many of the basic corporate values Allworx embraces, including customer focus, value, reliability and quality, so we're confident in their ability to be a strong distribution partner," said Chris Hasenauer, president of Allworx.

The Allworx product line can accommodate a variety of communications needs for small and medium sized businesses.  Following the agreement, Allworx has begun the process of registering and training new partners that are part of the Target customer base.

"By combining the expanding Allworx product set, including our recently launched mobility products, with Target's long history of success in the telecommunications industry, we believe we have made it even easier for our Allworx partners to be successful," added Hasenauer.

Late last year, Allworx, introduced its new family of Ethernet switches called PowerFlex comprising three products targeted to match the Allworx voice server sizes. The new offering was specifically designed to complement its current product line and can be installed easily.

The PowerFlex line includes a range of features such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 10/100/100 speed. Because this line can auto-configure when Allworx servers or phones are connected, businesses don’t have to invest resources in installations and post installation troubleshooting.

“PowerFlex allows our customers to have a complete Allworx solution from end-to-end and will improve our customers' experience by simplifying installation and support of our systems,” said Hasenauer.
