IP Communications: Ensuring Simple, Effective Do-Not-Call Compliance with the TeleBlock System

Enterprises, telemarketers and call centers that are required to abide by stringent do-not-call (DNC) regulations can often struggle to remain productive due to the sheer complexity of implementing and maintaining an accurate database of blocked numbers.

Rather than managing the system on their own – or simply failing to comply with federal and state mandates – many forward-thinking companies have turned to Call Compliance's (News - Alert) TeleBlock Do-Not-Call Blocking System, distributed by IP communications specialist AireSpring (News - Alert).

TeleBlock provides a revolutionary network-based approach to do-not-call compliance by automatically screening and blocking outbound calls that match federal, state, wireless, third party and even in-house lists.

The entire process is completed in real-time without call center agents ever realizing the system is in place, unless of course a blocked number is dialed. The product screens numbers against a company's proprietary DNC database and furnishes a "restricted number" message if a DNC number is dialed. If the number checks out, the agent and the calling system are not hassled.

"Our subscribers dial with confidence knowing that they have the power to dictate outbound Do-Not-Call compliance enterprise-wide, whether satellite office or outsourced call center, by screening all calls against the same web-based, customer specific, centrally administered, secure DNC database hosted on the private pages of Call Compliance's website and managed by the subscriber on their own behalf," says AireSpring.

What truly sets TeleBlock apart from competing solutions is its flexibility and its rich feature set. Included in the suite of services is a DialBlock option, also known as 800 TeleBlock, which relies on a toll-free number and a pin code. This dial-in alternative is perfect for organizations that retain agents who work from home or who routinely use cell phones. Other, software-only solutions don't account for these users.

Then there is 1010 TeleBlock, a service that enables call centers to gain access to a carrier's network with a 1010 code or any other carrier-specific force code. This service is particularly useful for companies that can't fully migrate their calling operations to a TeleBlock participating carrier because of a previous agreement with a non-participating carrier.

Subscribers can also leverage the power of TeleBlock's VoIPBlock SM service, which can be optimized with an existing data network to ensure DNC compliance with VoIP telephones, MTA adaptors, predictive dialers with secure VPN connectivity and other IP applications.
