Myanmar, also known as Burma, is still on the path to recovery, even though it’s been two years since the military junta that had been running it was dissolved. One of the main areas in which the country still lags is its mobile space, but SIM card prices are coming down and mobility is becoming more accessible to Myanmar citizens by the day.
Take, for example, the recent launch of the YTALK HD Dialer from Myanmar-based telecommunications provider VMG Telecoms. Available for iOS and Android (News - Alert) devices, the app leverages the innovative iTel Mobile Hybrid Dialer from REVE Systems to offer mobile VoIP and calling card solutions on a single platform that can be used from and to anywhere on the globe.
The mobile app is available for free and offers special focus on countries like Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, as well as the U.K. and U.S. With YTALK, users can make cheap calls to landlines and mobile phones around the world using their own mobile device and any Edge, 3G, EVDO or Wi-Fi data connection.
Thanks to its iTel Mobile Hybrid Dialer base, YTALK also allows for the use of calling cards. Put simply, the iTel Mobile Hybride Dialer automates the use of calling cards, meaning users don’t need to remember the access number, PIN and destination number every time they make a call. The app also offers straightforward mobile VoIP functionality.
“REVE Systems line of products has all exceeded our expectations and has delivered world class quality, which has helped boost our business to the next level,” said VMG Telecoms director Aung Tun in a statement. “The after sales support has also been spectacular by always attending to our needs and requirements without complaint. We highly recommend this company and we look forward to working together with them for many more years to come.”
